An element of “Her Network” , Chamonix’s latest collection of unique handmade textile artworks from luxurious felted merino wool, inspired by the majestic Banyan trees of North East Arnhem Land in Australia’s Northern Territory.

Inspired by the exploration of ancestry, identity, and connection to land, Belonging reflects on what it means to truly know where—and who—we come from.

Just as tree roots weave deep into the earth, this piece symbolizes resilience, interconnectedness, and the quiet strength that grows from grounded origins. It is a tribute to the stories that came before us and the unseen threads that tie us to place, people, and purpose.

Only by honouring where we’ve been can we move with clarity toward where we’re meant to go.

Due to the the nature of felted wool, this piece is low maintenance and easy to care for.

As a three dimensional piece, it is recommended to install on wall or ceiling brackets so that the artwork has space to fall organically rather than being flush against the wall.
